Basketball 3x3
The urban basketball variant is an integral part of the Ruhr Games, and the sport has also been Olympic since 2021. 3x3 basketball is played on a basket. A team consists of four team members, three of whom are on the court at the same time.
While the best players compete against each other in the international U18 invitational tournament, up to 600 male and female basketball players from different age groups can freely register for the NRW3x3Tour. At the NRW3x3School Cup, all schools from NRW can compete against each other on the court.
