BMX Flatland is one of the most spectacular and artistic sports in the Ruhr Games programme: this year, the European Championships will be held here for the second time. International riders from around ten nations are expected to compete on a competition area of 10x10 metres.

The BMX riders have to be creative, spontaneous and technically skilled to impress the jury in the categories of difficulty, style, elegance and execution of the tricks. The best flatriders in Europe will move to the music of the competition DJ.
